Hello:
I was buying some books on Amazon.com today, and, at checkout, saw a beautiful cover that I had to take a look at in the “books recommended for you” section.
This cover happened to be on the front of Everett Ferguson’s new book “Baptism in the Early Church: History, Theology, and Liturgy in the First Five Centuries.”
Ferguson’s book has not been released yet, but it is available for pre-order on Amazon. With a list price of $60.00 ($37.80 on Amazon) and a page count of 912, I doubt that many people will pick it up…but, an academic book by Ferguson on Baptism in the ancient church has got to be worth reading.
